Introduction

Welcome to the new format Trinity Life, the magazine of Holy Trinity Ashby.

Here you will find a range of writing about the life our church family. There is so much to be encouraged about. I hope you will browse the articles and leave some comments.

The Three Questions

Following Bishop Martyn's instigation of the Everyday Faith initiative (building on Shaped by God) we are now allocating articles to one of the three key questions under the headings of

  • Deeper Discipleship
  • Making Disciples
  • Loving Service

You can see more about these, and the actual questions, in full, in our article 'The Co's and the Q's'. With the edition we are accompanying articles with a set of icons. These give an indication of who the article is aimed at. You are most welcome to read any of the articles, but as God is doing so much amongst us, it can be useful to indicate the intended readership for a particular piece of writing.

The Icons and the Areas is an article claying out what these represent.

Feedback

With this edition we are also introducing feedback. This is not intended for criticism (or self-promotion), but instead for encouraging and building up our writers. Please don't flatter the authors, but do say how their writing has helped or encouraged you, if it has.

Comments can only be seen (and made) by logged in users of the site. This means that, while articles are visible to the public (but not listed in web searches), the comments remain with the family of the church.
