St. Helen's Church, set at the heart of the market town of Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, is an historic and attractive 15th century building. Why not view our Church Guide below which you can pick up in the church, open every day from 9am until 5pm, whilst exploring its wonderful historic and splendid interior. You may wish to sit quietly to rest and reflect, or join us at one of our weekly services or frequent fellowship and community events.

First 50 Exhibition
Fifty life sized replica World War 1 soldiers will be on display in church 15th
May. They represent the 50 volunteers from Coalville who were the first soldiers to land in France in 1914. Local artists and organisations have created an amazing display of life size artwork figures representing these men, and the exhibition also tells you their ultimate fate. Schools or groups can contact our Heritage Officer Llynda Baugh on 07435 564236 to book a short talk to accompany a visit. Open daily 10.30am – 4pm (excluding Sunday mornings).
Christian Aid Week Coffee Morning
Our contribution to the town-wide fundraising for Christian Aid will include a coffee morning at the St Helen's Community Heritage Centre, 10 'til 12 on Friday 25th

Brunch on Sunday
- What could be nicer than having someone cook you a bacon butty on a Sunday morning? Just come along on the first Sunday of each month from 9.15, for brunch in our new Community Heritage Centre, followed by All-Age Worship at 10.30. Our next one is 3rd
A ‘Ticket to Italy’
Leicestershire Adult Learning Services will be running a Holiday Italian course at our Community Heritage Centre, starting on Tuesday 5th
June for 4 weeks, 7pm – 9pm, £40
This enjoyable course for beginners will give you a really useful range of holiday language such as greetings, travel & transport, using numbers in practical contexts, shopping, asking for directions, ordering food etc.

St Helen’s Church Fete
will be on Saturday 9th
